Travel fans are praising a “stylish” vintage-style suitcase from Dunelm that comes with a 15-year guarantee. The Rock Luggage Vintage Suitcase comes in three sizes and ranges in price from £100 to £120.
The largest style is designed to be used as hold luggage, while the smallest is nice and compact, making it the perfect cabin case. The striking retro case has a hard shell design and also has eight smooth rolling wheels, allowing you to glide through your trips effortlessly, while the telescopic handle helps to support swift manoeuvring.
The cases have tough, reinforced corners to protect contents from the rigours of airport baggage handling and can be picked up in a range of colours including burgundy, gold, navy and pink. Reviewers have been largely full of praise for the case.

One said: “Great stylish case, got superb attention to detail. Moves around easily and the handle extends to a great height. Got strap and internal zip and the added bonus of the built-in lock is very helpful, so no need for padlocks. A little more expensive compared to others but worth it due to it looking more classy and made from better materials.”
A second said: “This is a lightweight robust case. It easily contained ski boots, and a helmet with all other necessities and extras. It withstood the rigours of a flight for a skiing holiday. It also has street (flight) cred.”
A third added: “Easy website to order from, delivered promptly, well packaged with sturdy cardboard and collars and enclosed in a protective plastic film. A superb quality lightweight case. The vintage look is very pleasing, I chose the gold, but it was tough as all the colours looked fab. A really eye-catching case. I was so pleased with it that I ordered the matching large case and cabin bag for future hols so all of our cases match. Don’t hesitate to order these vintage-look cases, they are excellent all around.”

Most of the reviews have been very positive, however, there has been one two-star review left to date, saying: “These suitcases are strong… but the zips are weak and not good quality. I never overload my suitcase… I’ve used this case twice and the zip is definitely showing wear already.”
Amazon also stocks some alternative vintage suitcases including the Unitravel Vintage Luggage Set which comes with a small suitcase and is priced at £159. There’s also a two-piece Vintage Trunk Set from Wayfair which is quite a bit smaller, but also cheaper at £79.99.
