Team India’s finisher Rinku Singh opened up about the strategy behind his incredible 100-meter six during Friday’s fourth T20I match at Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium against Australia.
In addition to staying active and eating a good diet, the southpaw believes that he possesses some natural strength. Rinku guided Team India to a 174/9 in the fourth match in Raipur. He hit two sixes and four fours during his knock. One of the innings’ greatest hits took place in the 13th over and was huge. With a 100-meter six, he fired Ben Dwarshuis as he charged down the pitch.
Rinku was asked in a post-match interview with Jitesh Sharma on bcci.tv how he generates power to hit sixes.
“I work out, you know that, and eat responsibly. I have natural power because I enjoy lifting weights,” Rinku said to Jitesh Sharma in a video that was uploaded on BCCI.tv.
Rinku and Jitesh Sharma (35 off 19) added 56 for the fifth wicket to lift the Men in Blue from 111/4 in the 14th over. Jitesh, who hit 35 off 19 balls, admitted he was worried in the middle because it was his first game in India.
