Chennai Super Kings are looking forward to welcoming back their captain, MS Dhoni, ahead of IPL 2024. The veteran underwent knee surgery after the previous season of the league and is likely to recover before the upcoming edition starts.
There were speculations on his fitness and availability, but he was recently retained by the five-time champions, confirming his comeback in the yellow jersey.
Meanwhile, a Twitter account with Harbhajan Singh’s name stunned fans when he thanked Chennai Super Kings for making him their captain for the 17th season.
Some of the fans fell for the words and reacted to the statement.
However, it turned out to be a fake account and many users lambasted him for using Bhajji’s name.
Chennai defeated Gujarat Titans in the final of the Indian Premier League 2023 to lift their fifth trophy in the competition.
