Arshdeep Singh has been unstoppable for India in T20Is, and the young left-arm seamer has impressed former player Sunil Gavaskar, who lauded him for his terrific performances in international cricket. The left-arm speedster has taken 97 wickets for the Men in Blue in the shortest format of the game and surpassed Yuzvendra Chahal on the list of most wickets for the sub-continent nation in this version.
Despite being among the top wicket-takers, Arshdeep has been given limited chances in ODIs while he has yet to play Test cricket. Gavaskar feels he has the talent in him to play for the country across formats.
“Arshdeep Singh can be an all-format bowler for India in international cricket. He has been terrific in T20Is and doing a great job for India,” Sunil Gavaskar said. Arshdeep dismissed Phil Salt and Ben Duckett to reach the milestone.
