India defeated England by 150 runs in the fifth T20I to clinch the series by a margin of 4-1. Chasing 248 runs, the visitors were dismissed for 97 runs in 10.3 overs. Mohammed Shami took three wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy, Shivam Dube, and Abhishek Sharma dismissed two wickets each, respectively.
Earlier, Abhishek Sharma’s 135 runs took the Men in Blue’s total to 247/9 in 20 overs. He hit 13 sixes and 7 fours at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The remaining batters couldn’t score even a fifty in the contest. The Men in Blue will now take on India in a three-match ODI series.
