Gujarat Titans are one of the favourites to win the Indian Premier League 2025. They are in fourth place with 14 points from 10 matches. Shubman Gill’s team has been impressive across departments, and their top three batters are among the best in the tournament’s ongoing season. Sai Sudharsan has crossed the 500-run mark, while Jos Buttler and Gill have gone past 450 runs so far.
They have scored more than 70 percent of the total runs accumulated by the team. Gujarat haven’t witnessed a top-order collapse to date and are expecting the trio to continue to give match-winning performances in the remaining league matches and also the playoffs.
Apart from the batters, their fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been magnificent with the ball, taking 19 wickets from 10 innings. He is the current Purple Cap holder and has looked threatening with the old ball, with Yorkers and bouncers being his wicket-taking deliveries.
Former India player Navjot Singh Sidhu heaped praise on the speedster. “We are talking about Buttler, Gill, and Sai. They have done this, they have done that. What about Prasidh Krishna? You are not discussing a bowler who has taken 19 wickets. He is bowling with the old ball despite being a new ball bowler,” Sidhu said on the broadcasting channel.
“Don’t forget about Sai Kishore. He knows his limitations as a bowler and has been lethal for the Gujarat Titans. He is using his height to perfection. He is one of the finest bowlers,” he added.
“Sai Kishore is a clever and intelligent bowler”: Pragyan Ojha
Pragyan Ojha, who represented India and the Mumbai Indians, hailed the GT spinner. “He is a clever and intelligent bowler. I don’t know why he is not getting four overs in all the matches. Sai Kishore doesn’t spin the ball a lot but beats the batters with his line and length,” he said.
