Business tycoon Gautam Singhania recently announced his separation from wife Nawaz Modi on social media and this news left everyone shocked. Later, it was reported that Nawaz has accused the billionaire industrialist of assaulting her and one of their daughters in a fit of rage.
While Modi has demanded 75% of his fortune of $1.4 billion for the divorce settlement, Gautam‘s dad Vijaypat told Business Today, “Why is she (Nawaz) fighting for 75%? Gautam is never going to give in, because his motto is – buy everybody and buy everything. That is what he did with me. By fighting like this, I don’t think she’ll get much. Unless she has, maybe, a person like Harish Salve, Mukul Rohatgi, Kapil Sibal.”

Also, I’m paying Rs 1 lakh per month until my son becomes 18. I’m not Shah Rukh Khan. I don’t have that kind of money. I’ve promised her I’ll pay up the rest of the money, and I will, even if I’ve to slog till I drop dead.”
