Former India and Chennai Super Kings player Ambati Rayudu said a book should be written on Chennai Super Kings, and the world should read it on how to play cricket.
Rayudu was with CSK when the franchise won the fifth title in 2023, and MS Dhoni urged him to take the trophy from the BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah as a mark of respect for the retiring teammate.
“I had announced my retirement, and the final was my last game. MS Dhoni told me to lift the trophy, which was heart-touching from the captain,” he said on Star Sports.
Ambati feels a book should be written on the five-time champions.
“It is time to write a book on Chennai Super Kings, and the world should read it on how to play cricket, captain a team, and make a squad. CSK should be a role model for the world of cricket,” he added.
Rayudu was asked to predict the two finalists of the Indian Premier League 2024. “The Men in Yellow will reach the final, and the other team will be the one that wears a blue jersey,” he said.
When he was reminded that many franchises wear blue jerseys, he said that let the fan guess.
