Former Australia bowler Tom Moody has hailed Hardik Pandya’s trade from Gujarat Titans to five-time champions Mumbai India, caling it a masterstroke.
After a successful stint with GT, where he captained the team to their maiden IPL title in 2022 and the final in 2023, Pandya has returned to Mumbai Indians, a franchise where he began his IPL career in 2015.
Moody described Pandya’s decision to join MI as a masterstroke and said that GT has suffered the most as a result. With this move, Hardik Pandya joins a select group of captains who have been traded in the IPL, including Ajinkya Rahane and Ravichandran Ashwin, who were traded to Delhi Capitals in 2020.
