Rahul clarified that Samson will bat in the middle-order, as it has long been his role in the team.
“Sanju will bat in the middle order. He has been given this role in one-day internationals. He will bat at No.5 or 6. For now I will be donning the wicket-keeping gloves, but if there is an opportunity, he will keep the wickets at some point in the series,” he said
Rahul also talked about Rinku Singh and his debut in the fifty-over format. In the last two T20I series against Australia and South Africa, Rinku accumulated 187 runs in 109 balls in six innings.

He was impressive in the T20I series. Rinku has scored run across formats in domestic cricket and yes he will get his opportunity in ODI series,” he added.
