Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League 2024. “My decision is because of the opposition we are playing against and also the pitch. The pitch is fresh, and it is the first game on it. It will help the seamers at the start. I am expecting to see some dew in the second innings,” Sanju Samson said.
Faf du Plessis would have bowled first as well. “We haven’t played out best cricket, and it has nothing to do with the batting spots or the bowling changes. There are guys in the team who can perform for the franchise. The onus is on everyone to contribute, as we haven’t shown anything impressive. Virat has done well, and I hope others pick up,” Faf du Plessis said.
