Rashid Khan hasn’t been at his best in the Indian Premier League 2025. He was slammed for four and sixes by Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh in the GT vs PBKS match, while RCB batters smashed him for 54 runs from just 4 overs. Liam Livingstone went after him, and the bowler was dispatched to the stands by the English batter. Rashid was guilty of bowling fast and relying only on googlies.
Former Indian player Navjot Singh Sidhu suggested he learn from his young teammate Sai Kishore, who took two wickets and conceded just 22 runs from his four overs.
Sai has been magnificent for the team in the ongoing 18th season.
“Both Sais were magnificent for Gujarat Titans. Rashid Khan should learn from Sai Kishore on how to bowl on such wickets. He is bowling fast and is using only googlies to take wickets. Batters have become smart and they know what is coming out of the hand of Rashid Khan. He will have to bowl slowly to take wickets,” he said.
However, his performance didn’t impact the team, as the visitors registered a win by 8 wickets. Mohammed Siraj was the star of the match, taking three wickets and conceding just 19 runs from his four overs.
