Mohit Sharma has been the star bowler for Gujarat Titans since joining them in the Indian Premier League. The discarded Indian pacer joined GT as a net bowler in IPL 2022 but was drafted into the playing squad after impressing head coach Ashish Nehra, who himself was a pacer.
Mohit hasn’t looked back since then and has taken wickets in every game. He was the one who brought the Titans back into the contest from a losing position against Mumbai Indians. He took a sensational returning catch of Dewald Brevis of his bowling, and the five-time champions couldn’t recover and lost the encounter.

Mohit’s has different kinds of slower ones, which are not easy to pick for even the best batters in the world. In the third match with Sunrisers Hyderabad, he was again among the wickets and completely rattled the middle-order of the rival team. Mohit took three wickets and conceded just 25 runs from his four overs.
Navjot Singh Sidhu lauded the veteran pacer, saying that his presence of mind makes him a lethal bowler. “If pace was everything, Shaun Tait would have been the greatest bowler in the history of the Indian Premier League. He could have achieved greatness, but line length is more important to get success.

“Look at Mohit Sharma. he mixes his deliveries to perfection, and there is hardly a batter who has been able to pick him up in the game between GT and SRH. He uses his mind and makes sure to surprise the batters. This is high-quality pace bowling,’ he said on Star Sports.
Shaun Tait was associated with Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
