“There is a wonderful variety of trees with two playgrounds for children. One of them is a terrific adventure playground with some 30 to 40 activities.
“You can find deer, rabbits, squirrels and wild birds to see as you walk. There are good views of Farnham castle and a nice little tearoom beside the cricket ground and the little golf course. Or you can just switch off and count the number of different breeds of dog out with their owners for their daily exercise.”
Farnham is known for its beautiful floral displays, which are created by the Farnham in Bloom team, who volunteer their time and work tirelessly to ensure the town is a beautiful place to live and visit.
The gardeners contribute towards well-maintained public spaces, floral displays, and sustainable gardening practices.
You can also take a trip to the Museum of Farnham, which shares the history of the local area. Located in a beautiful Georgian townhouse with many original features and a delightful walled garden, the museum details the town’s history from its prehistoric roots.

The collection is small with each room focusing on a different period of the town’s history – Perfect bite sizes for a new visitor to Farnham. It is free to enter with excellent, helpful staff.”
